elcome to Historic Casanova Liquors and The Nova Wine Bar and Restaurant of Hudson, WI.
Located near the banks of the beautiful St. Croix River and Historic Downtown Hudson, Casanova Liquors has been an important part of the history of Hudson.

In 1896 it began as Casanova Beverage Company, brewing beer until prohibition. The original cave is still standing today going 150 feet into the hill side. During prohibition they became a bottling company for soda companies including Coca-Cola. After prohibition was lifted they continued to bottle and became a distribution center. In the late 1970’s they converted part of the bottling center into a liquor store and became a full service store and wholesaler until 2003 when the new owners purchased the building.

Today we continue to serve the community by offering high quality spirits and an expanded selection of wines and craft beers. In our excitement to provide wonderful wines for our clients we opened The Nova Wine Bar and Restaurant in the summer of 2004.

The wine bar is located in one half of the old liquor store. We converted it into our 2nd living room with comfortable seating, and a fireplace! We currently have over 200 bottles of wine available in bottle form and offer 30 wines by the glass along with 6 rotating taps with craft beers. We strive to give people a relaxed atmosphere to experience the wonder of wine and beer. Dinner and light appetizers are served each evening, and to keep it fresh our menu and by the glass wines change 3 times a year.
